Am i the only person waiting for this company to go under.    01/21/2009

Lets first start out with the lack of customer service both on and off the plane with American Airlines. Lines are always long, even when there is no one standing in them you still have to wait. There are so few people working when it is busy but even less when it is slow. So even though there is no one in line, you still have to wait to be helped. Then the idea of being charged an additional $25 per bag. Is this a joke? Everyone has bags to bring on the plane. Why not just increase the price of the tickets a little instead of nickle and dimming the customers. In the end it all works out the same, but at least this way the customers don't like they are being taken advantage of. Now lets talk about getting on plane, if it ever arrives that is. Maybe it's just me but my plane always seems to be late. And its only with American Airlines, never if very rarely at all with other airlines. Now that we are on the plane, lets talk about the service in the air. I'll just leave you with the one line a pilot voiced over the speaker the last flight i took. He said, and i quote, "no one appreciates you or your money more than American Airlines" end quote. I was so insulted that i don't know if i will ever fly American Airlines again.

Probably never flying again.
