Do Not Work Here 01/28/2009If you enjoy self-respect and respect from others, do not work at the Courtyard by Marriott, Denver International Airport.
Management is inept at best - the AGM tells you what you want to hear to get what he wants, otherwise is a soul-less individual who has decided to give his all to Marriott International, even when the reward is low and it's not in anyone's best interest. The GM has been put out to pasture, and doesn't even know how to check a guest in. Employees are allowed to run amok, break all kinds of Marriott policies, and never get properly disciplined because it's an inconvenience to interview/hire/train. No training, no support, and senior management actually makes up reasons why something new and innovative cannot be done. Truly, one of the stupidest jobs I've ever had.
