With Domino's you gotta love the pizza, but the work just wasn't for m.... 01/31/2009I worked at Domino's Pizza for the shortest time a person can even have a job, 4 hours. Ya, only 4 hours before i quit. I thought i would try out Domino's because i loved the pizza so much. They for sure have the best pizza on the market. Or at least that's what i think. They always make it my special way, large pan pizza pepperoni lovers very very light on the sauce. They always make it perfect, but as for working there, i just couldn't handle the pressure. Order after order after order, learning on the fly, then if you get an order wrong, you don't find out for almost 30 minutes while the driver is making the delivery. People always waiting on hold to place their order, each order is different, and it is just flat out none stop. Then after all of that, the pay was only around 8 bucks an hour. Not nearly enough to make the abuse feel ok. Each customer wants some kind of discount and there are always a million pizza specials going on. I will always love Domino's Pizza as they are the best on the block, and so inexpensive, but to work for Domino's, i just couldn't hack it. Good luck if you decide to give it a try.
