I’ve always enjoyed Michaels but this time was a little disappointed by the pricing. 02/18/2009I had a few paintings that needed to be stretch framed so as always, I went to Michaels. Honestly, I always go to Michaels because the service is incredible and there is so much to choose from. But this time I have to say I was a little disappointed. The Michaels framing person told me that Michaels marks up their prices to put them on sale. This means that something that should be selling for say $100, is marked up to $150 and then put on a 33% off sale. Or maybe marked up to $200 and then put at 50% off. I just find this to be completely dishonest. Just offer me your products at a good honest rate. Don’t mark them up just to put them on sale so that I think I'm getting a bargain. To you Michaels, I say, shame on you...
